With the inspiration of Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and under the guidance of Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami a unique Aamrakut-Utsav was observed at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Ahmedabad, in the holy presence of Purani Swami Shree BHaktiprakashdasji Swami on 02 June, 2019. Kesar - one of the best kinds of mango fruit collected from Kutch, Junagadh, Gir region and Gurukul Droneshwar, 7,500 kgs.
26 January, 2019 republic day was celebrated by SGVP Gurukul Parivar with patriotic fervour. Students of International school, Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay and Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Ahmedabad combined organised the celebration with parade and other programmes resembling patriotism.
As a part of social duty, with the inspiration of Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami, students of SGVP Dharmajivan Hostel organized a Falkut – offering of various fruits in large quantity to distribute in hospitals and to underprivileged people.
In our society many people experience something lacking or hardship, to spend normal life. The best way to overcome it to some extent is to visit them with love & affection. And this is the way to feel humanity as our social duty.
Value based education is to inculcate human values in new generation. As a part of it, with the inspiration of Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami, students of Gurukul are subjected for various social services.
During winter, students of SGVP Dharmajivan Hostel distributed 1500 blankets to the needy people on road side and in slum area. Voluntarily 100 students along with saints visited the many places during night and extended the helping hands to needy individuals. Volunteers spent 1000 human hours to organized this noble task successfully.
With the Help the needy people – observing this benevolent command of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan, with the inspiration of Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and guidance of Puyja Purani Shree Balkrishnadasii Swami, SGVP Gurukul Parivar proceeded on 08 Apr 2018, to distribute the foot-wears to needy people suffering from the extremely hot summer time.
Education is the base of humanity and is the basic right of mankind. Gurukul tradition provides the value based education to meet the accomplishment of human life.
Beside the excellent education & cultivation at Gurukul, SGVP extends support to the needy students to complete their primary, secondary and higher education.
13th Annual Pratishtha day of Shree Ram-Shyam-Ghanshyam Maharaj at SGVP was celebrated by Gurukul Parivar on the auspicious day of Vasant Panchami, Shikshapatri Jayanti, January 22. 2018 in the holy presence of Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and elder saints, students and devotees.
